Not All Steel is Created Equal: 20mm Conduit vs. The "Kit" Culture

If you search for "Industrial Lamp" online, you'll see thousands of results. Most are lightweight imitations. Here is why we choose the hard way:

1. The Wall Thickness Most hobbyist kits use thin, decorative piping. We use real industrial 20mm steel conduit. It’s why some of our lamps weigh nearly 2kg. That mass isn't just for show—it’s the foundation of the lamp's stability.

2. The Threading Process A kit lamp usually just screws together with loose tolerances. We manually thread our steel. This creates a "structural lock" that ensures your lamp stays square, true, and solid for decades.

3. The Industrial Fingerprint We don't hide the process. You might see the subtle marks of the threading machine or the natural variations in the steel’s finish. In a world of mass-produced plastic, those "fingerprints" are the mark of a Sheffield artefact.
